Woodward’s LC-50 and PG+ are low cost alternative to the E6 and mostly suitable for engines from 5kWe to 100kWe. The LC-50 provides a building block approach to total engine management.
The LC-50 includes a mixer which can be used for either propane or natural gas. Just behind the mixer is a throttle body with an integrated fully programmable digital speed control.
The LC-50 can be expanded with L-series air fuel ratio trim valve. This trim valve can be ordered with or without stoichiometric air fuel ratio control functionality.
The latter making this a very neat and cost effective solution for this power range.
PG+ Stationary Engine Control System is a cost effective, flexible gas-engine control system that controls speed/load, air/fuel ratio and spark ignition. It can be applied to single or dual throttle engines in a wide range of power outputs, in generator or mechanical drive applications. PG+ is easily tunable via a user friendly PG+ Toolkit and operates the engine in emissions compliance through a wide range of engine conditions. Changes in engine AFR operation due to gas quality, fuel system drift, and other environmental conditions (e.g. humidity, air or fuel temperature, etc.) during normal operation of the engine are compensated fully compensated for by PG+ thus keeping your engine in emissions
